Sound Recording :

In order to obtain high-quality recordings, we utilize some of the best audio gear available. (Visit the GEAR link to see a list of equipment)

The studio is one room (no control room), but treated well acoustically. Recordings are made while monitoring with headphones. While we are not set up to accomodate a live band recording, the room is big enough to record a set of drums. If your project includes acoustic drums, then I suggest you record in a larger studio. However, if our rates entice you, we can record your drums, then overdub everything else. This approach is a bit more time consuming, and may take enough time as to make it less attractive from a 'bang-for-the-buck' point of view - as opposed to just going to one of the bigger, more expensive studios in the Phoenix area. Our room is best suited for recording acoustic instruments and vocals; and for mixing and mastering.

This is a 'mixer-less' studio. In other words, we use no control surface with physical faders and knobs. All levels for playback are controlled by the DAW software. This allows for total control of mixes through computer automation.

Our microphones, preamps and converters are some of the best in the industry, and allow us to capture every nuance of a performance.
